We are proud to announce Heidrun as our Featured Bootique Client!
Heidrun is one of the most positive women to ever endure one of our workouts whether it’s a 6 am boot camp or a 6 pm yoga session… she radiates happiness. That sort of goodness radiates to all those who get to workout around her!
She’s a July baby – having celebrated her birthday on the 8th. I love that she always celebrates her birthday doing something active and outdoors!
You’ll see in the photo that she just ran the Pride 5K with trainers Sarah and Ro – and she rocked it!
What would you like people to know about you?
I’m a librarian who grew up in San Diego. My younger sister and mom live in the Bay Area. I’ve lived/worked in southern Indiana, Everglades National Park, and Crater Lake National Park.
What are your hobbies/interests outside of our classes?
I enjoy hiking/backpacking, taking classical guitar lessons, and taking pictures of nature!
Tell us an interesting or unusual fact about yourself.
I was born in Germany.

How long have you been training with Bootique Fitness?
Since March 2016.
What was your life like before Bootique Fitness? How is that different now that you train with Bootique?
Before Bootique, I did a lot of endurance exercises, but no strength/yoga training. Realizing that I needed to take care of my bones with strength training, I decided to join Bootique full time.
What results have you seen since coming to Bootique Fitness? How do your results make you feel?
I definitely have a stronger core and I can do Sarah’s ropes! I feel good that I am being proactive about my long-term health.
Tell me about your experience with the trainers.
I am really grateful for all the trainers. They each have their own style and I really appreciate how every class is different, they create new exercises, they make sure we have proper form, they don’t yell at us!, and if we have an injury they give us modifications. They are patient, positive, and come to class with a smile. And what really stands out is the fact that during the wet winter season, they still came out and taught outside or moved the class indoors if the weather was really bad!
What are your favorite/least favorite exercises?
My favorite exercise is planking! And my least favorite are sit-ups!
What do you enjoy the most about Bootique Fitness?
What would you say to someone on the fence about making a change & committing to their goals?
The important thing is that you should enjoy the physical activity.
