I started to go to dance fitness class back in 2016. Jaylin told me I should try boot camp group exercise. I was nervous at first but I gave it a shot, here I am been working out with these ladies for years. Bootique fitness helps me getting out of my comfort zone and do what I told myself I wouldn’t want to. My health improved and I made friends. I have added one more awesome activity in my life style because of this community. You will find workout is more fun than you thought when you do it with a group of friends. Since joining Bootique in 2012, I’ve had to buy smaller pants and fall asleep quickly now. I feel more aware of when my body needs to move or drink water, and my strength and endurance have increased. I get more accomplished these days because of the early and energetic start on the day. I appreciate their dedication in being present for us, keeping us engaged by providing variety and encouragement, checking our form and making accommodations or adding challenges as needed. It is so much more interesting and exhilarating to train outdoors than in a gym!

I have found in Bootique Fitness a wonderful community of women who are like minded. It has been a welcome relief from a gym (ugh!), but every bit as productive from a physical conditioning perspective.

I have been working with Bootique Fitness for over 3 years now and I can honestly say that it has changed my life. I have lost over 60 pounds, gained so much strength, made friends, had tons of fun, gotten to know San Diego better and have developed a love for health and fitness, all thanks to Bootique.
Jaylin, the owner, is an amazing lady, who has taught me so much, not just about working out but also about healthy eating and healthy lifestyle habits. All the trainers, Sabrina, Sarah, Ro and Ali, go out of their way to get to know their clients so that they can train them in the best possible way. They ask about injuries, and check in on them regularly. They want to know what your goals are and help you in reaching them. If you go out of town, they will email you workouts you can do on your own time.
They have really become like family to me. I am so thankful for them. I have recently began supplementing my Boutique workouts with time in the gym and I have had so many strangers tell me that I have great form and understanding of the exercises that I’m doing. That’s all thanks to Bootique! I promise once you start, you’ll be hooked! And of course, results are super motivating!

“2 Dress Sizes Down, Energy Way Up!”
Before Bootique? Life has always been good to me. But that same life has always had plenty of stress. I’m the one always too busy taking care of others and forgetting about myself—and I was starting to show it. I needed help — sometimes I felt “lost”. Needed a change to balance things out!
Coming to Bootique has been Life changing! Have lost 2 dress sizes, have more energy than ever. I feel STRONG. But that’s just the “physical” stuff. I love the Bootique “community!” It’s the best definition of “unconditional love”.
When I first got started I thought: no one here looks like me, everyone is in much better shape than me and I’m not so sure I will fit in. Today: we’re all “sisters” cheering each other on. And these days, I find myself welcoming and encouraging our new teammates! It’s come “full circle”.

“Bootique is the best choice that I’ve ever made to reach my fitness goals.”
Before finding Bootique Fitness, I enjoyed my workouts at the gym, however wasn’t going often enough to move past the plateau I had arrived at, because the gym is just too busy on work nights. Also, there wasn’t a class that I liked, that fit in with my schedule. Now, thanks to my amazing friend, Debbie Franz, I’ve found the absolute best dance fitness class, taught by the absolute best instructor, ever, that fits in with my gym workouts!!
Now I look forward to going to class on work nights and have even added a third weekly class. It’s addicting. It’s easy to see why Jaylin was named the best Zumba Instructor in San Diego. Jaylin’s classes are full of fun choreography, give you a great workout, and there are so many routines that the classes always vary…. not a chance of becoming bored… but you will be exhausted… in a good way.. Whatever level you are at, you will fit in.
And… I’ve lost over 42 lbs…woo hoo!! I have more energy and my motivation is back

Jaylin and the other trainers at Bootique Fitness are all amazing and inspiring. I hadn’t done any formal training or classes in about 3 years. I started in Sept 2012, and have loved them ever since! I no longer dread my workouts. That alone is huge! Since every single workout is totally new and fresh, I have no idea of what we will do for each workout. No (negative) expectation= no dread. This means I actually look forward to exercise… wow!! Definitely a first for me. In the past, I’d always been reluctant to do basically the same workout and eventually began to develop a searing hatred for my redundant routine.
So now I’ve been exercising regularly (3-5x per week) since 2014 with Bootique Fitness. Friends and colleagues have been asking me what I am doing because my body has been changing quite noticeably! (Yay!) Let’s just say the jiggly parts are way more firm now… 🙂
The workouts are hard but the results are worth it. All you have to do is show up ready to work for 45 minutes! The awesome trainers do the rest of the work for you. I know it’s scary to try something new, but this is the best thing I’ve ever done for my fitness. You must try it for yourself.

I started with Bootique Fitness this past May of 2012. Before joining boot camp, my workouts consisted of mostly running and occasional cross-training. I knew I needed to change my routine, but I didn’t want to join a gym.
I wanted to be outside and get my workout done first thing in the morning. That’s how I found Bootique Fitness. The morning bootcamp has been amazing for me for several reasons.
The exercise, the supportive group of women, being outside, and the consistency has made me stronger both physically and mentally. The workouts are fun and effective.
They change all the time which keeps it interesting. In addition to the workouts, Jaylin provides access to nutritional information, a massage therapist, and other services that support an overall healthy lifestyle. If you are ready to get healthy and meet some great women in the process, I highly recommend Bootique Fitness!

Honestly, there’s a part of me that can’t believe how much I love going to boot camp. And that has everything to do with the awesome trainers at Bootique. I’m in my 40s and had never really worked out with consistency. Then I started at Bootique almost two years ago, and find I miss it when I can’t get there due to travel for work. Jaylin and her team of trainers are so client focused that I feel confident even when I need modifications and then I STILL get a great workout. If only everything in my life were as fun and as good for me as Bootique.
Jaylin is Awesome! I’m the kind of person who does NOT like to work out at all, I generally just buy a monthly pass for the gym and I never go, but that’s not the case with Bootique Fitness.
I actually want to work out because it’s fun and makes you feel like a superstar afterward! I’ve been going almost non-stop since last August and I can definitely see results. The locations are beautiful (outdoors), the trainers are AMAZING and the results are evident. Thanks Jaylin!! 😀

I love it! it is fun, with only women and great, energetic trainers.
You work out all your muscles and they are always mixing it up so you don’t do the same workout twice.
They push you so you get results- I have lost 13 pounds and feel awesome!!

Bootique Fitness is awesome and I’m so glad I found them last year! I was really nervous about jumping into a boot camp, but both the trainers and other clients are so incredibly supportive of one another. Jaylin and the team have created such a positive and welcoming environment, I feel lucky to be a part of it!
Every training session is different and very effective- I have been losing weight and inches while gaining strength and stamina! And I love starting my days in a beautiful setting like Balboa Park! 🙂

I absolutely love working out with the Bootique Fitness trainers. It is the only fitness class/gym that I have been consistent with for more than a year and I credit that to the personal, hands on training and the awesome group of women I have the pleasure of working out with every week.
All the ladies are so encouraging and inspiring and it makes me want to push myself harder in every class. The trainers really take into account any injuries or issues you may have an modify the exercises to make them work for you. I am so happy I found Bootique!

I’ve been taking the bootcamp and dance fitness classes for almost a year now and I just love it! Jaylin and team are outstanding. The workouts are challenging, the locations and times allow flexibility, and the ladies are great company. My work schedule has some flexibility and sometimes varies in location for meetings, so being able to choose from several morning and afternoon options up and down the coast makes it so easy to fit my workouts in! Not to mention you’ll start to see and feel the difference fairly quickly since the bootcamp workouts change every day. Who doesn’t want an effective, efficient workout with friends in the sunny San Diego outdoors? And they’ll help keep you accountable if you need it too (thanks Sabrina!).
