We are proud to announce Jen as our Featured Bootique Client!

I met Jen way back when we still danced on India St and she was a full time corporate lawyer. We lost touch for a little while… but she found her way back to us after becoming mama to one of the cutest little boys ever – Daulton.

Now a days, I get to play with Daulton while Jen gets some much deserved me-time working out with Sabrina.

I love how Jen is setting an example that no matter where life takes you, you can always make the choice to take care of yourself as well as your family.

What would you like people to know about you?

I grew up in San Diego and love to explore new places and old favorites. Friends call me Captain San Diego as I can always help find them somewhere to eat or the perfect activity to do.

I’m an attorney/stay-at-home mom. Being an attorney is way easier…

What are your hobbies/interests outside of our classes?

I like to cook, garden (aka kill all my plants), go to concerts, and read. I also love to travel/go on vacation. But who doesn’t?

Tell us an interesting or unusual fact about yourself.

Hmmmm…I’ve been stung by a scorpion and had meningitis; so, the CDC has been called twice on me.

Wanna share a guilty pleasure?

Sure, I’m an open book. I really love the Real Housewives of (any city) and really Bravo shows in general.

How long have you been training with Bootique Fitness?

Off and on for seven years??? Time flies.

What was your life like before Bootique Fitness? How is that different now that you train with Bootique?

I have more energy then before Bootique. Also, now as I’m more pressed for time, it’s something that I make sure to do just for myself. While it benefits others in my life, the workouts are my time for some self care.

What results have you seen since coming to Bootique Fitness? How do your results make you feel?

I would say my results are that I feel more like my 25 year old self energy, fitness, and mental health-wise than I did pre-Boutique.

Tell me about your experience with the trainers.

They make me laugh. And are very clever in their efficient use of 45 minutes.

What is your favorite/least favorite exercise?

My favorite exercises are those that use the whole body so I can’t focus on just one body part that is hurting.

My least favorite exercise is the Bulgarian. For so many reasons.

What do you enjoy the most about Bootique Fitness?

Feeling amazing after the workout.

What would you say to someone on the fence about making a change & committing to their goals?

It’s only 45 minutes for the bootcamp…who doesn’t have 45 minutes to spare in order to feel like you can do anything?
