This is the absolute best outdoor fitness activity to do in any weather (not that San Diego has many weather conditions to worry about.)
San Diego Top Spots to Bike for Fitness
Basically any coastal town has a boardwalk for you to leisurely bike on. The Silver Strand in Coronado offers 10 miles of smooth riding. However, if you are looking for a little bit of a challenge, take a trip up to Mount Soledad which can be accessed by trails in both Pacific Beach and La Jolla. Simply put, biking is a great way to lose weight, tone up, and save some gas money (and it’s better for the environment)

Make New Friends
There are many groups that schedule organized rides for cyclists to get together and enjoy the ride with company. This is great for accountability and an opportunity to make new friends.
