Congratulations Miss November!
We are proud to announce Chloe as our Featured Bootique’er!
Chloe is the newest member of our Bootique trainer team. We thought this would be a great way for you to get to know more about her.
What would you like people to know about you?
It has been my dream to live in San Diego since I was a teenager. After living in Illinois our whole lives, my husband and I decided it was time for a change and moved to San Diego from Chicago in August this year and we couldn’t be happier!🙂 I have been a nurse for five years. I was an ER nurse for three years and now work in Dermatology. While I love being a nurse, fitness has always been a huge passion of mine. I became NASM certified earlier this year with a goal to start training group fitness and help others chase their fitness goals and change their lives.
What are your hobbies/interests outside of our classes?
I love to run! I have run 3 marathons and am about to start training for my 4th. I also LOVE going to the beach, swimming in the ocean and exploring all the different beautiful beaches here in San Diego. My husband and I also really love taking our Goldendoodle, Buddy to dog beach on the weekends.
Tell us an interesting or unusual fact about yourself.
My parents have gotten married to each other….twice. I have three siblings and we are all extremely close! My parents and two of my siblings live in my hometown in IL and my older brother and I live a mile apart from each other here in San Diego!
Wanna share a guilty pleasure?
I am such a foodie… I love trying new restaurants and having an extravagant meal. I also have the biggest sweet tooth! I can’t resist a good dessert!
What was your life like before Bootique Fitness? How is that different now that you train with Bootique?
I have always had a love for sports, fitness, and running. I played sports all throughout growing up and started running half marathons/marathons in college. After college I started taking group fitness/bootcamp style classes and fell in love with strength training and working out with others! I have been to hundreds of group fitness classes and have never experienced such a welcoming group as I have with Bootique. I love everyones positive energy and the fun variety that each class brings.
What are your favorite/least favorite exercises?
Favorite: I love combo total body exercises where we can hit multiple big muscle groups with one exercise!
What would you say to someone on the fence about making a change & committing to their goals?
Take control of your life and make a commitment to yourself! Exercise can be fun and enjoyable if you find something you like. Its never too late to start your fitness journey and take a positive step towards a healthier life. Sometimes you just have to push yourself out of your comfort zone to take that first step and it gets easier from there.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
I am so excited for the opportunity to become a trainer here at Bootique. I cant wait to meet everyone and start training with you!
