We proudly support the boobies

41 energetic and generous friends of Bootique Fitness came out for our first annual Boobie Boot Camp. We raised $600 for the Susan G Komen 3 Day group, Vivas Las Boobies supporting boot camper, Stephanie Oberle. Thank you everyone for coming out, showing your support and sweating for a cause. Special thanks to our fabulous raffle sponsors, Oakley, Veronica Lomeli, and Dominique Coulon and to our fantastic camera-girl, Robbin Adams!

Mini-trainers give extra motivation to boot campers

We ran a friendly competition-style boot camp workout where each team had to work together to complete 400 reps of squats, walkouts, sit-ups and mountain climbers – all the while, running back and forth to the scorecard (sidewalk) to mark their score. The boot campers had an extra helping of motivational cheering from our mini-trainers, Ruby and Tucker with shouts of “Go faster!” and “Let’s do this!”

Finally… what everyone was waiting to hear

Despite the drizzle San Diego teased us with throughout the workout, this crew went hard, knocking out their reps and cheering for their teammates – until those famous last words were spoken… “Child’s Pose” – signaling the end of the workout.

We have a winner!

The first team to complete 1600 reps won brand new yoga mats! Congratulations to Ashley Herr, Heather, Janet Douthit, Kristina Heinz, and Lila Murphy!
More winners took home goodies as we raffled off Oakley sunglasses and water bottles, a Zumba Party in Pink tank, and a limited edition Breast Cancer supportive bracelet. Though, you could see that every face in the bunch felt like a winner as there was a high sense of accomplishment for completing this boot camp workout on a rainy Saturday and for the amount of money we raised for breast cancer empowerment. We have a lot more photos of the event on facebook. Check them out.
