Why do I need a trainer?

Anyone from a novice to an elite caliber athlete can benefit from a coach or trainer. Most people do not have the knowledge to realize why they are not reaching their goals. I work with my clients to educate them to make changes in their lifestyles to accomplish their goals. I can objectively observe your movements to help you become more efficient in your workouts and help you decrease potential injuries. Be careful in choosing a proper trainer! There are many trainers out there that are willing to shortcut your workouts. I will make you fitter, faster, and stronger, but I will do it safely!

Why do people fail at achieving their fitness/athletic goals?

Many people fail to achieve their goals because they:

* Have poor nutritional habits
* Are looking for quick fixes without having the scientific background (infomercials, miracle diet pills, etc)
* Lack time for exercise or to go to the gym
* Lack motivation
* Have plateaued with their current program
* Have a current trainer using a “one size fits all” program

Do you have a program that is right for me?

I create an individualized program for each of my clients. A person training who is recovering from knee surgery is going to need a different program than someone looking to lose weight for an upcoming reunion. I have trained:

* Athletes
* Weight loss seekers
* General fitness enthusiasts
* Women who are pregnant and post partum
* Sedentary adults
* Pre and Post Rehabilitation

Is it too hard?

My programs will push you. If you want to see results, you will have to change the way you have been working out. I am looking to improve your life years from now. I will teach you about how your body is changing as you age. With my training you will be able to counteract those obstacles that stand in your way of the life you want.

Do I need any equipment?

No. When training out of the studio, I will bring all the equipment necessary.

How often should I train?

Most programs show the best results with 3-5 sessions a week. Most of my clients train with me 2-3 times per week and do additional cardiovascular work on their own. Typically a person needs to workout 3-5 days per week to get results. I will help you customize a fitness program that includes cardiovascular fitness, strength training, flexibility training, and balance. Together can decide what you will do on your own and what the trainer will help you do. You and your personal trainer can decide what is best for you.
