Virtually all adults can benefit from regular physical activity but it becomes even more important over the age of 50 when the risks of developing a chronic disease and/or arthritis increases considerably. Physical fitness activity is effective in preventing and managing cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, chronic lung disease, diabetes, obesity, osteoarthritis, and osteoporosis.
Safety is very important. You will learn to how to strengthen your body without the fear of an unnecessary injury from doing an improper exercise or from doing an exercise improperly. I will design a program that is appropriate for your current fitness level whether you have been active for years or if this is your first time training with resistance.
